Health Benefits Counselors are needed to answer questions about Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Supplemental insurance, Long Term Care insurance, and related topics.
The mediators for UPCAP's Conflict Resolution Services Program are trained community volunteers. These volunteer mediators help disputants work through complex situations and develop workable agreements.
Trained volunteer Ombudsmen visit long term care residents, explain their rights, answer questions, and report individual complaints about care and services to the local Ombudsman.
